Just as the strangeness began to fade from my life, last night I had another close encounter with a UFO, almost a month after my first sighting. I am starting to feel like someone is playing a joke on me, but this time I wasn't the only one to witness the event.
Three of my friends and I went to Stony Creek Lake to go fishing around dusk. Mind you that I have been back to Stony Creek Lake several times in the last month and I have seen nothing out of the ordinary. Tonight would be much like the first.
After an hour or so of fishing, my dog, General, began acting strange. Out of the blue, he took off and ran into the forest, barking like a rabid dog. I looked at my friends and shrugged my shoulders. "He'll be back."
After about fifteen minutes he didn't come back but I could still hear him barking off in the distance, nearly halfway around the lake. I decided to go after him. I jumped in my truck and drove to to a parking lot on the other side of the lake and began yelling for him.
After about five mintues or so, I heard the loud humming. A chill went down my spine as I have heard this humming noise before. Sure enough, I cast my eyes to the sky and through the trees I could make out three glowing orange lights. They were high up at first but were coming closer and closer to the treeline.
I no longer felt safe and I began to run back towards the lake. As I began to run, the orange globes slowed down and hovered overhead. I stopped walking for a moment and froze in disbelief, then tried to crouch behind a tree.
The entire forest seemed to be on fire from the orange glow. I crouched down and closed my eyes for what seemed like a minute or so, then I heard something in the forest. I stood up and saw The General running towards me. He almost knocked me over. I remember glancing back up at the lights to to see them quickly shooting up into the sky.
The experience was quite surreal and when I came out of the forest, two of my friends were waiting at the truck. They asked me where the heck I had been and I told them I was running from the lights. They saw them to and were so spooked, one of my friends had taken off by himself.
We didn't talk much at all on the ride home, just that they seemed to be really worried that I was missing for good. We all saw the same orange globes, and I'm happy to know that now I will have some witnesses. I hope to meet up with them later tomorrow so we can all try to figure out just what happened. I will keep you all posted.
